Lowestoft is the most easterly town in the UK and has grown over the years into a popular seaside resort.
As a port town there is a rich history of fishing and Lowestoft is also the gateway entrance to the Norfolk broads.
As time has moved on, so has the town which now plays a key role with supporting the renewable energy sites in the southern North Sea.
The town has miles of wide sandy beaches with lifeguard service and there are two piers.
Oulton Broad is a 40 minute walk or just 8 minutes in the car. visitors are able to hire out boats, enjoy water activities and walk the scenic routes.
The town has a mainline train station which can take you across to Norwich City within the hour and local and National Express coaches which link to all of the key towns and cities in the UK.
Located in Suffolk, but on the border or Norfolk, there are many interesting places to visit close by and far and wide.
